Dave Wilcox from Austin, Tx says:

What a piece of work. You could tell almost right away he was feeding you BS. Almost like a used car salesman. Since everyone else we called was booked, we took a chance, what a mistake. He made us pay in full before leaving the dock. Saw later, the other guides waited till after the trip. We never went more than a mile from the marina. We anchored on a channel and threw lures all day. He was very anal about everything. Dont do this, dont do that, your gonna twist the line, dont rip the lure. Blah blah blah. We caught 2 fish all day. He tried talking us into going back to the dock an hour early saying the weather had the fishing messed up. We told him no and had to insist on staying out. When we got back to the dock we found out why he wanted to go in. 3 other captains came in with limits of trout 20+ and some redfish. We stayed around and talked to the people on the other charters and they ran 15 miles north. Cause that's where everyone was catching fish. Found out Randy wont go north of bridge because it cost to much in gas, but everyone else goes. He is just a piece of work. Lied to us about him catching lots of fish.
Dont go with him, hes an ass.

    Kathryn from Dallas, Texas says:

I just came back from my vacation to South Padre Island and going fishing with Captain Randy was my favorite thing I did!

I went down to Padre with my brother and several friends and we did almost everything there is to do in Padre from going snorkeling to riding jet skies and more. Two days before we left we decided that we wanted to do a fishing trip and not just any kind of fishing would give us the excitement we were looking for...we wanted to go shark fishing! I was a bit nervous at the thought of finding a guide to not only take us shark fishing without having to pay ridilicious amounts but I wanted us to actually catch a shark. Within minutes of asking around, I was referred to Captain Randy. I instantly liked him. He was; very laid back, friendly, skillful and had great rates! Most importantly he delivered!

So if you want to go fishing in South Padre, Captain Randy is who to go with!
